Flight - The Experience
This one, in short, is "Air Travel Hacks". I have nearly 40 years experience in international air travel and over 1 million miles flown as a passenger (sadly, none as a real pilot...but about 10,000 hours of time on the desktop sim) over 25 years. The one thing that constantly amazes me about international air travel is the fact that knowledge is power. In the age of the "DIY" travel, in which people play travel agent and when things go wrong, they melt down because they don’t know what to do. This doesn’t apply to everyone, of course; there is a special group of air travelers who are in the air constantly and those people generally know what’s going on and what to do when ‘stuff’ happens.
What are things that you, as a passenger, can do to take control of your flight experience? What are the things you can do to make it less stressful? There are things you can do…and we’ll show you. The most daunting aspect of flight is the fact that you are surrendering your control over everything, including your life, and putting it into the hands of another person. That scares some people and here, we can show you the behind the scenes of why things happen the way they do.
We’ll also show you what flight can be when things go right, which is, most of the time. We will show you how it can be an amazing, inspiring, enlightening experience. You might even begin to appreciate our passion for aviation, which inspires us to do more everyday to make it safe, comfortable and a pleasant experience.
